1953: Raphael Coosemans <\/a><\/h3>\n

De heer Rapha\u00ebl Coosemans begint een kleinschalige productie van acrylaat schaaltjes voor beenhouwerijen in zijn garage te Schoten. Al snel groeit de vraag naar deze producten en wordt zijn assortiment uitgebreid.<\/p>\n

1970:<\/h3>\n

Zijn 2 zonen, Jacques en Fernand, sluiten zich aan bij de firma en verhuizen de werkplaats in 1973 naar de Sluizenstraat, een toenmalige zandweg aan de Schotense Vaart. Op deze locatie wordt fors ge\u00efnvesteerd in het machinepark waardoor de activiteiten worden uitgebreid. Plooien, buigen, frezen, verlijmen, etc. behoren nu tot de mogelijkheden van Imatex.<\/p>\n

1978: Jacques Coosemans<\/a><\/h3>\n

Bij het overlijden van Raphael Coosemans nemen Jacques en Fernand het roer over en telt Imatex 17 werknemers. Zowel in 1981 als in 1983 wordt de bestaande werkplaats uitgebreid tot een totale oppervlakte van 3400m\u00b2.
Met de komst van Christophe Marchand in 1984, neef van Jacques en Fernand, legt Imatex zich ook toe op het vacu\u00fcmvormen.
In 1987 zet Fernand een stap opzij.<\/p>\n

1989:\u00a0De montage van de 5-assige laser in 1989<\/a><\/h3>\n

Met een personeelsbestand van 60 werknemers wordt Imatex marktleider in de Benelux. De CNC-gestuurde machines zijn in opmars en als eerste in de Benelux investeert Imatex in een 5-assige lasersnijmachine. Imatex profileert zich zo verder als een technologisch innovatief bedrijf.<\/p>\n

1996: UITBREIDING\u00a0<\/h3>\n

De vraag naar vacu\u00fcmvormen blijft toenemen en nieuwe machines worden aangeschaft die in een nieuwe hal hun plaats vinden. De totale oppervlakte van de werkplaats bedraagt 5800m\u00b2.<\/p>\n

2005: Gilles doet zijn intrede in het bedrijf. <\/a><\/h3>\n

Gilles, de oudste zoon van Jacques, doet zijn intrede in het bedrijf. Hij neemt de commerci\u00eble ontwikkeling op zich.<\/p>\n

2007:\u00a0Bouw van nieuwe productiehal.<\/a><\/h3>\n

In volle crisisperiode weet Imatex nog steeds te groeien, en een bijkomende opslagruimte wordt aangebouwd. Dankzij de verhoogde voorraadcapaciteit speelt Imatex slim in op de vraag naar flexibele levertermijnen.<\/p>\n

2013: S\u00e9bastien doet zijn intrede in het bedrijf<\/a><\/h3>\n

Met de intrede van S\u00e9bastien, jongste broer van Gilles en Damien, wordt de huidige bedrijfsleiding vervolledigd. Hij beheert de financi\u00eble en administratieve aspecten van het bedrijf.<\/p>\n

Geleidelijk aan laat Jacques de dagelijkse bedrijfsvoering over aan de 3de<\/sup> generatie.<\/p>\n

2017: Imatex koopt nog meer hoogtechnologische machines<\/a><\/h3>\n

Een grondig investeringsplan van het machinepark wordt uitgerold. De volgende jaren zullen nog meer hoogtechnologische machines aangekocht worden.<\/p>\n

2019: Energiebesparing, optimalisatie en effici\u00ebntie<\/a><\/h3>\n

Er wordt ingezet op een actief milieubeleid. Energiebesparing, optimalisatie en effici\u00ebntie worden speerpunten binnen het bedrijfsbeleid. Er wordt ge\u00efnvesteerd in 4000m\u00b2 aan zonnepanelen.<\/p>\n

Met een nieuwe productiehal wordt de bebouwde oppervlakte verhoogd tot 9600m\u00b2.<\/p>\n
